You don’t have to tell me that Harrisburg is broken. Unfortunately politicians all around us, including my opponent, would rather point fingers and assign blame than do the hard work it takes to bring real change.

I’ve been fighting to solve problems big and small my whole life - if it matters to one family in our community then it matters to me.

• Rep. Curry introduced successful legislation to require health insurers to recognize a mother's and her doctor's judgement regarding the length of hospital stays after delivery
• Larry shepherded legislation to eliminate "drive-by" mastectomies and fought to allow physicians to discuss HMO financial decisions with their patients
